For anyone wanting more details on the problem: I bought the ECU second hand as a K3. We initially thought it would be compatible with the M30 turbo setup but at some point it had had the firmware upgraded from an M3DK to a K3 and configured to run a coil on plug VW 20v turbo engine. However, the upgrade wasn’t carried out by Emerald, so when it was initially connected to the coils (two on one driver) it obviously caused an issue. I returned the ECU, along with details of my setup and they configured it to work with my ignition system.

@@russp4622 Hi, bud! If you give me your email I can do. It won't be the map that I currently have but a map that I was sent from a friends E12 B7s, running a K6. That's what I started with and then modified.

i just had my e24 turbo install by slide motorsport and they advised i need to get it remapped any advice who to use mate

Hi, mate! 400-450, hopefully. We will just find where the turbo is most efficient and not push it. The turbo was specced for fast spool and driveability. I could have gone big with the turbo and made 500-600 but that wasn't my goal for a reliable track car.
