This was a great video. I have an 87 528e and the odometer no longer functions. At 1.49, I see the name of the company you ordered from. Is it just a matter of going to their site or calling them up to order one? Thanks!

It is, but call/email first to confirm a price quote specific to your needs. After he gives you a quote, it’s a matter of removing the gauge cluster and carefully packing it in lots of bubble wrap and shipping it to Rick. He’ll inspect the whole thing if he sees anything that needs changing since he’s already in there. Definitely Call him first so he schedule you in. Very easy to work with, and he does great work. He did my Mercedes cluster years ago and he was great then too!

@@AlexBeras Okay sounds good and thanks for the feedback and tips. One more question, I still have the original fuses in the box and it appeasany of them need to be replaced due to indicator lights, hazard lights and other electrical items that are not functioning. Infact, the current ones look worn out which should explain theany malfunctions. Where would you recommend getting new fuses? I suspect at a local autoparts store. Thanks again.

@@Levi-cx2to for fuses, stick with BMW original parts. They are slightly more costly than the plastic ones found on Amazon, or anywhere else. But the ceramic ones have longevity. Ceramic fuses are not hard too hard to come by, if OEM replacement part, make sure you get the right quality, or the original equipment manufacturer.
