I had my headliner done by NineStitch who specializes in e30 interiors. Highly recommend. Super helpful video - thank you!

Very nice. You made it look easy. Only problem I'm scared of is the sunroof parts are NLA and I'm afraid to break them. My sunroof bolts also look rusty so I'm scared to strip them
@inkmoto2 жыл бұрын
Thanks Juan, glad you got something out of this episode 🙂 Just take your time with those rusty bits, try soaking them in wd40 for a few days before as this will help release them. Also you'll be surprised how many parts are still available from BMW, we always try them first and they normally work out cheaper than the Ebay sellers too! Let us know how you get on with yours and if our video helped you, good luck!

@@inkmoto Mine arrived from CAtuned and looks quite different fabric to yours! It's got little holes in it... Quite odd.
@inkmoto3 жыл бұрын
The little holes are known as ‘perforated’ I will have to check but I think ours is the same. Let us know how you get on with the fitting.

I had a lot of issues putting the rear view mirror in it just needs a lot of force but anyways this job has saved you thousands for labour

Yeah they put up a fight don’t they! Agreed, interior trimming doesn’t come cheap but it is for a reason. Did you fit your own one too?
