When I did my motor vehicle course at college there was five brand new BMW engines, it used to be a BMW motorsport college so BMW donated the engines for people to work on, they had never been in a car. A few lads asked to buy the engines but the college would not sell

Send me that head, i need to mock it up for another engine! Is there anyplace you can find a Blueprint for this cylinder head? These jackets almost match that of the SOHC g54b.

Well, nothing can beat the look of an E30 M3. Same power, but I was pleasantly surprised what lower center of gravity can do for responsiveness. Despite the not-so-perfect weight distribution, BRZ/FRS handling felt just as good as the M3.

I do have one myself, she is so well looked after, garage is pure white fully inside, dehumidified and she even sits on pure white plinths. I use her now and then. But sadly not how she was intended to be driven.

@@e36s50b30 I have and it deserved to be a 6 cyl. I owned one for several years and was always less than amazed at power delivery. To build a 250hp motor would cost ridiculous money, considering that a 50hp gain shouldn't cost 12000 bucks.

Well too bad, the original engine keeps the M3 authentic and was used in racing. Want a classic 6 cylinder BMW? Get an M3 E36 or an M5 E34.
