My e30 is a 1989 320i, my problem is the differential 3.91 small case open diff, ive changed the bearings, and its still whining, should i sell the car or should i earn money for an engine swap to m50/m52? worth for a daily driver?

It can be daily driven easily, the gas consumption might even go lower with m52 engine, m20 is a bit more thirsty I think. Not to mention that m52 will have better power to weight ratio. Just be ready to put quite many hours for the swap, it isnt as easy as people make it seem.
