The good news about the rear sub woofers is that they are repairable. There is a company that I cannot recall their name in St. Petersburg Florida that sells a kit for the foam that you can glue onto the cones and then they are 100% functional afterwards.😎🇩🇪🚙

the kit is from Simply speakers. moderate tools, alcohol/lacquer thinner, and skills needed. you must be patient and careful. I've done it. you can fix the speakers without removing them from the plastic casing. might as well. replacing the speakers is a waste unless you replace them all and the full removal and replacement is a good amount of work.

good job I had to do that also replace the rear subs with higher grade ones but had to modify the box no they will blow you out the back seat .

Don Williams is looking for the heat shields on the under carriage, the front plastic drip pan under the motor and the engine cover with the gaskets that goes on top of the motor. DW

you dont need to remove all the seats etc to get the speakers out . just remove the covers and the 4 vscrews on each driver and cut or un solder the wires

Hi. Will i need to remove the seats and parcel shelf to change rear shocks and springs? Also if anyone has any suggestions as to what bundle of parts i should but when replacing broken spring. I currently have springs, shocks and top mounts

Yes the rear seat and parcel shelf need to be removed to access the 3 bolts holding the top of the strut.

Great time to replace the 4 speakers in the box. I bought 4 replacement speakers. Had to cut holes in the bottom of the cabinet because the magnets were bigger. The original speakers get destroyed after 12 years in the sun, heat and cold. You will also have to cut the insulation away atop of the strut towers to get to the nuts. Not a hard job to do the struts, but tedious................................
