Bmw E46 Injectors - How To Swap Injectors

Got some advice for the e46 community. When installation of injectors, use silicone spray, rubber safe or motor oil. Main thing....firmly press your injectors into your fuel rail 1st, because sometimes they won't seat on the upper o ring if you just try to press a fuel rail onto 6 injectors and it makes sure your retainer clips clip on properly as they should. Just a trial and error on my part. Just hope thus helps someone. New injectors come with new o rings. They bigger and more firm than the ones your replacing. Promise....good luck folks

Nice. Thanks for the heads up on the how to. Need to change out mine (230,000) on em as best I know. It's time. Doggy performance and skipping/missing on #5. Surging, etc. Fuel pump here thurs. So...open her up and vanos seals and injector time.

What difference in performance have you noticed with aftermarket vs. stock injectors?

In order to use any after market injectors you need to tune you ecu to use them, so it gets expensive if you start running multiple tunes, but OEM is always better than any ebay ones, if you go aftermarket make sure it’s a known brand

i have priming cylinders 3 and 5 only on cold engine, for 20sec.. without waving engine. damage injectors can do this?

I have a 325i with 30i intake manifold and 30i injectors and 30i ecu program. What do you think, would it work if I put back the original 25i ecu program, will that work with 30i injectors?

I would just do them every couple years, oring do get hard over time, if you base it off miles it’s to difficult because most people don’t own the car long enough or even put in the miles, but if you have never done them I would recommend you do it to be on the safe side

It's off a e36 I swapped the oil filter housing and cap from an e36, fits with little modification

@@noahrivers6941 you have to drill and tap a port for a oil temp sensor e36 only have on 1 port for oil pressure but E46 have 1 for oil temp and 1 for oil pressure, also now you won't have anywhere to mount your power steering reservoir since it usually mount to the oil filter housing, him me up on Instagram I can send you some pictures @lui328i

No ccv, I deleted and plugged the ccv on the Intake manifold, I have the valve cover going to a catch can
