Hey guys, in this video we will demonstrated how to remove and replace the Power Window Switch on BMW E46. We demonstrated on a PRE FACELIFT 2002 BMW 330ci e46 and 2005 BMW ZHP was the same procedure as well. If you power windows do not work then it is likely that you have a bad switch.

Thank you for the useful video,- I watched before replacing my switch on the left side! Actually, for me no need to pull off the grip in neutral postion, and also no need to unplug any of the cables,- I could just pop out the window switch and unplug after unscrewing and lifting up the cover

Thanks on the Tutorial on how to replace my power window switch in my 2005 BMW 325i it was very helpful. I wish I’d had know ahead of time that I could have just replaced a button but maybe next time 👍🏻

Great video. Only suggestion I have is to show how the actual piece comes out, after you remove the shift boot. For those in the future, there's two screws at the bottom of the base that need removed, then that piece pulls out.

Thanks for the video! I was able to replace this component in my 2002 BMW 316i. I didn't actually need to disconnect anything - just had to remove 2 screws under the shifter.
