Keep it as OEM as possible. These are becoming impossible to find in good shape.

That V8 X5 was the first MX5 I think it got the MTU62 engine but the biggest problem with that engine was the timing chain guides, value cover and gasket and make sure that you change the transmission fluid and differential transfer case.

Oh yes absolutely it was and definitely going thru everything and I am going to make sure everything it’s going to be serviced.

@@bmw_fanatic liquid Molly got some good transmission fluid for that BMW X5 it's the 1200 liquid Molly full synthetic transmission fluid it works wonders 😁😁😁

@@bmw_fanatic BMW X5 M54 and MTU62 are all that I work on German cars can be easy to work on if you have the right tools and the right science

@@topnews1007 mtu62 engines I love working on, best engine made in my opinion apart timing guide chain failure.
