What does this Bluetooth module do? Does it allow Bluetooth phone calls or streaming audio/music? What version is the Bluetooth? 3.0

Have taken off the access panel in the boot of our September 2003 X5 also the removable cover and we don’t seem to have the module with the code for pairing my iPhone. Does this mean that we don’t have Bluetooth, but we have all the other phone signs on the dash and the steering wheel. Can anyone advise me please ?

Hi, 2006 3.0d, no luck at all hold 3 seconds turn to position 1 with key whilst still holding and nothing, wonder if its dead...its one of the last e53 2006 models if that helps

Then that means you don't have bluetooth YOU MUST HAVE THE BUTTON under the armrest

My 05 absolutely works with my Note 10+! You may want to try again. Take the key out, hold the face button down and turn the key on. Wait a few seconds and scan for BT on your phone.
