Just purchased an X3. Adding that one to my list... Was it OK to reuse the fill and drain plugs?

yes, its fine if the plug is still in good condition

Recommended to use replacements because there is a built-in rubber o-ring. I got a kit from FCPEuro that included the fluid and two new drain plugs. Seems like cheap insurance.

@The Last hope Yes, we enjoy it. Mine is in a " needs tidying" condition. I am a little disappointed with the fuel consumption. It's sitting on about 23 mpg (uk) which is only a little better than my E65 v12. Perhaps the N52 version may be a bit better.

I thought you need to change both rear and front differential oil? Video doesn't show how to change front differential oil.

Its good can level up to horizontal with machine lifter, if you do it in own house find a flat floor.

it might from the wrong torqye, over or lower. maybe washer can help on.

ciao, grazie per il commento. L'olio differenziale, noto anche come olio per ingranaggi, è più denso rispetto all'olio motore. Come olio lubrificante, l'olio per ingranaggi previene il danneggiamento dei componenti metallici dei veicoli e ne aumenta le prestazioni complessive. L'olio rende anche facile per le auto fare le curve senza problemi.
