Oh brilliant this has helped me figure out how to remove those boot side interior panels. I spilled weed killer on mine and need to replace them. Of course BMW charge a pretty penny for them

Thank you for this! It’s the most information I’ve managed to find. However, I have the HK system and I want to know the dimensions of the rear speakers (the ones you installed in this video). I have a pair of Rockford Fosgate T142’s and struggling to find out whether they will fit? Could you help?

Can you just replace the speakers or do you have to replace the whole trim? Im not fussed about the HK speaker system, its not my car 😂

my car has the basic audio ( no hifi ) Can i install this and the front HK speakers without needing an amp ?

should be fine i think i just did my front ones and tweeters and they’re fine. still eventually i’ll be getting an amp but i’m slowly getting the other speakers first

Yeah you can replace the speakers without replacing the housing

The current ones in my F20 are making a lot of noise and I think they are blown. Does anyone know which ones I need as replacements? Good sound but budget friendly as well if possible.

Can i put audison x4m small basket rear speakers in the original holders for f20 ? The procedure it's the same ? I have to take down half the car ?
