I’ve done the same conversion for my f20 and coded the bulbs to led via bimmercode but I still get errors even though the bulbs are canbus. Do you happen to know how to sort this?

You can code it to turn off errors also

Are they durable? I bought a set of China-made LED for license plate, broke after 1 year. Now, I swap back to traditional filament bulbs.

F30 has original leds for licence plates, no need to replace, but if you have some other model, better not buy some of them for 2$, better buy some of 10 and more $ they are more durable and quality 😉

Other leds that are replaced in video are great and durable, tested on more car models before, and they are best buy for that money, and also looks much more better and brighter that stock bulbs.

Hello, for the oem ones, do I need to change only the amber bulb to red bulb to be legal in the US or I need to change the whole tail lights? It looks like only the bulb, that would be great if Im right.

Hey I replaced all my halogen bulbs and got all LEDs on my f30. When I start the car the lights flicker for a few seconds. Also when driving or at idle I notice that the light flickers once in a while too. Is there any coding or resistors I need? Thanks

This is happening cuz the car computer sends small amount of electricity to bulbs to check is it sill working. It is normal and it is not cuz of leds, this is still happening with halogen bulbs but you dont see nothing. If you want to turn off that check, you need to code it from bulbs to led, and this would be off

@@KrunoEti It did not flicker when I had the halogen lights on. Car lights are not supposed to flicker all the time. What is the coding software called for this?

Didnt flicker on halogen cuz they need much more power to flicker, so your computer still think that you have them and sent same power to do check, leds are workin on much more lower power so thats why they flashes. If you code it from halogen to led power will be reduced for leds. App is called bimmercode, and you need to have adapter for car. It is really easy to do this, you have fews videos on this channel how I do this for many other options on this car

Brake light is flashing only when you do hard foot press on brake, and abs activate

It is flashing cuz of camera, in real they are not flashing, thats only on camera

This one not flashing, they only can blink when you starting car, this is voltage test to check them, but if you dont want that, you can code it also ;)
