For next time: these LED units typically feature a removable collar so you can just install the collar first and then insert the LED unit. Saves you the hassle of wrestling around the clip like you were doing from ±4:00 onwards

I have been subscribed to your channel for some time now and I have finally found the right F800 GT to buy. I will be collecting it on the 6th of August. I can't wait 😁 I will definitely be fitting this LED bulb and some extra lights too. Have you ever fitted a LED to a 765 Street Triple? My partner has one and I have often thought about it. Hi Paul, my daughter in law has the F800GT and she absolute loves it. She came from a kawasaki ER6F but for her it was not the right bike. The F800GT engine is so smooth, while the Kawa had that on / of engine when riding with low rpm. The F800 feels like a scooter, she told me. I haven't placed a led bulb in a Triumph..sorry. When you get your F800GT let me know about it. Greats 👍🏻👊🏻🏍

@@TheOldMechanic thank you for your answer, I booked a 2017 F800GT but it is super dirty, the guy hasn't used it for 3 years and to avoid engine tightening I will have to clean the radiator but since I haven't saw how it disassembles I remembered your video to change the spark plugs, it will be very useful to me if it does not want to start. I thought you were working on your daughter's bike, I hope she appreciates how lucky she is to have an expert watching over her bike. Thanks again for your videos Friendships from France ^^

I put sylvania H7 L.E.D lights in but since it is hot out will shut off easly with lamp light on...i was riding at night and it shut off...well, i had to turn my high beam on till i get home. I am debating just leaving the covers off to see if it shuts off or just putting the old lights back in...any ideas?

If you want to keep your original headlight, I would place the Osram Night Breaker bulb instead of the Led light. I had them for years and they provide a bright white light, more brighter then a 'normal' bulb. 😉 Just a few weeks ago I mounted a complete new LED Headlight unit. But due to bad weather here, I haven't be able to test it during a night ride. I made a series of video's about it. 👍🏻👊🏻😉

mooi hoe je de inbouw laat zien, maar moet je canbus niet anders instellen? Doordat de stroom waarde anders is krijg je toch steeds het alarm te zien dat een lamp defect is ?

Hoi, nee dat was een Led lamp die canbus proof is 😉

Oke, ik heb ook besloten om een ledlamp in te bouwen in mijn f 800 GT voor de zoveelste keer was de h7 lamp doorgebrand. Bij verwisselen sprong de borging eruit en nu ga ik dus ook maar de verlichtings armatuur uitbouwen zoals je voor hebt gedaan. Dankje voor de snelle reactie

It is certainly easier to take the whole front end off the F800GT to change a lamp than to fiddle about blind trying to get those infuriating spring clips to latch. The last time a headlamp blew I got BMW to change it. Money well spent! It was in for a service anyway.
