Thanks for the tutorial! I was able to complete the install without disconnecting any of the connectors that you did in this video. Just popping the panels gave me more than enough room to pull the head unit!

Followed this and it works. You should disconnect the negative battery terminal first. Most of the electrical connectors have clips that need pressing and some are fiddly. Bought my aerial and upgrade off Bavarian Automotive. Worked a treat and we now have Apple CarPlay installed for less than £100

Bro, what is the next step for installing carplay? i have f48 x1, 2016, and i just ordered the antenna, but what's the next step after i install it? would appreciate the help :)
