Bikewale App were showing On road price G 310 Gs Rally and 40 th Anniversary limited edition at 3.40 lakh and 3.34 lakhs for Grey colour of G 310 Gs in Mumbai. The prices you were mentioning are almost 20000 Rupees more.

I am in the same boat as you are but leaning towards 390 Adv because of high service and spare costs of BMW.

@@sarojagrawal6729 yeah thats true but what i feel is 390 adv has two major issues which is turning me down. 1. Low end torque and bike stalling issue which i think can be fixed. 2. Stiff suspension I see bmw suspensions are good and i have done leh ladakh on dominar and trust me for long rides suspension plays a role to take you far. So with BMW i am attracted towards suspension and ride comfort + handing of the bike. However i am still waiting for a test ride of BMW in bangalore ...not got yet !!

@@Hunkpan 1. Bike stalling is really dependant on rider skills. I know few people who have no complaints of low end torque. 2. Overall ride comfort seems to be better in GS for sure. But long term ownership costs are premium in BMW G310GS on par with Versys 650 and Tiger 800

@@sarojagrawal6729 So bike stalling on the low end torque i feel is lot more than rider skill, I have seen people like Bulu Biker, Lokesh Swami skilled riders also complains about that. May be it take sometime to get used to it not sure on that. I own a dominar 400 and in Dominar also low end torque is pretty sufficient i would say. However when i took a test ride i experienced it also. People are putting duke 250 14 socket to fix that issue. Considering this prob has solution so we can ignore that. The BMW maintenance cost is a big issue here, i know the maintenance is expensive even though you do it in 10k or an year but still. Another thing is service center...Imagine you get stuck on remote location ...thats the only challenge i see in BMW...but the new version price is mouth watering ...these all are going in my mind...😁😁😁

Himalayan and bmw both are best for off road but Himalayan bs6 version is having problem with some engine also it sometimes heat, however both are best after modifications

If the Ex-showroom price for the GS is Rs. 2,85,000/- then how do you say that on-road price would be around Rs. 3,60,000/- ?? Even if the RTO tax rate is 10-12% and insurance to be around 12,000/- then also the on-road price in any state should be around 3,30,000/- ! Can you throw some light on this matter?

Thanks to govt there was 74k for registration at RTO for bs4 g310gs, this has somewhat similar cost, its same for Adv390 too.

@Atul Vasudev A Are you sure about that? Even for the 390adv, nowhere in any site it’s showing that much of rto amount! Everywhere it’s showing 8-10% rto. Be it 390 or gs. Although I’m not sure. Maybe the price is high in Bangalore only?? Due to excess amount of insurance! Almost double if compared with Kolkata.
