Great video Bob! Do you recommend sizing up, or is it true to size? I don’t want it to fit too tight, but not too loose either. I’m especially concerned about it being too short in the back. Based on my chest measurement, I’m a 56 (6 ft tall, 42.1 in chest) , but I’d like to know if the jacket is long enough to cover the lower back properly. Or maybe 58 will fit better. Than you!!

So I'm 5-11 and both the 56 and 58 fit very well from a length perspective. For me the chest was too tight in the 56 (I am a size 46 chest in US measurements). The 58 is perfect for me. The armor is very rigid which constricts movement as well so the bigger size is helpful. If you have a 42 chest, I think the 56 would be good.

I have been considering this option. what did you do with a pants. did you also buy the matching pants from another store

Good question! I don't have the matching pants. I use an over pant by Klim in bad weather. If I find the matching pants at a reasonable price, I'll post for sure!

​@@j.serrano15757they still have several sizes in stock at BMW. Just call a BMW retailer to have them ordered. I went through Cross Country Cycle in NJ.
