Bmw should just replace their crappy engine mounts with the new ones. Having mine replaced right now in my 2014 i3. I LOVE the car though. Even though I go threw rear tires so fast because of the instant torque.

There's a service bulletin covering cost of replacement/repair. It is # SI B22 04 15.

Its a $4k repair at BMW. I mean a used i3 is only about $10k at its lowest with a high mileage 2014 i3 BEV base model. A new or used battery starts at $6k. People must do their due diligence when buying an older used i3.

So, BMW never tested those plastic ass motor mounts and cheap bolts and yet the car has a MSRP of $55k and the Mini Cooper Countryman JC Works is only $37k? Be very careful when buying a used older model i3, check to see whether the car had its motor mounts and bolts replaced with metal or steel, it there is no replacement, you are looking at nearly $4k in repairs at BMW and at least $3k at an independent BMW shop.. Get in the back and unscrew the cover and check, and if the seller/dealer will not let you check, move on to another seller or dealer who will let you check. Also, check the battery for degradation.
