Iphone max is too big for my 2019 i3s. But there are people selling 3d printed parts that makes it fit. The part to be changed is the curved movable "flap" into a straight standing one that gives room for the iphone max models

can you please tell me what modification made on the wires? also, the blue cable not connected, for what it is?

Hey there, the blue cable for communication between phone and the head unit. As you see I needed only the charging option. The modification was for the active fans to cool down the system on the very closed arm rest.

Het there, yes the linked charger is compatible and works well with the i3. I using that on daily base. Cheers

Not worth it. The wireless charger from bmw sucks ass. Super inefficient and overheats the phone

I’m sure there is a way to modify that for bigger phones but my plan was to keep the car OEM as possible. If we’ll work around that task and found the way to lift up the charger back part (closer to the rear end of the car) I’m sure possible.
