BMW i4 M50 charging at Tesla V4 Supercharger with the MagicDock

What did you select as a vehicle in the Tesla app when it ask, BMW is not an option.

On the top right corner. Click the three horizontal bars. Thus takes you to the menu. Click charging. Click vehicle details. In the top right corner, click the + sugn. Then select BMW. All the models are available.

@@vauskyvideos Thank you. I have owned 2 Teslas and just recently bought a 25 I7 BMW. I have tried using the Tesla charger but it won't work with the adaptors I have tried. Is there a particular charging adapter that you use to make it work? The adapter I bought for my Tesla home charger works great I just can't get the Tesla Super Charger to work. I really appreciate your help with this.

The adapter you are using from your Tesla home charger is only for AC charging only. I have one for when I am charging overnight at a hotels. The only way right for BMW to charge at a Tesla Supercharger is at sites that have been modified by Tesla with what Tesla is calling a MagicDock, which is a Tesla to CCS1 adapter for DC charging. By mid year 2025, BMW will have access to most of all other Tesla Supercharger, and we will carry with us a Tesla to CCS1 adapter that BMW will sell us through its BMW Accessories store. I received a letter from BMW this week explaining their plan rollout. So, in the meantime, look for Tesla Supercharger with the MagicDock. You can find the MagicDock sites in the Tesla app under charging a non-Tesla. Make sure to add your i7 as your vehicle under the charging option.
