BMW iDrive Controller Cleaning after coffee spill on it !
You can see the result of drinking coffee and driving, it is not pleasant at all and in the end the coffee will be a bit expensive , but who can stop you from doing what you want in your car? now for real, :D

Hello. Thank you for the in depth video on disassembling the drive and shift controller. I have a 2012 528i f10 model and my I drive knob sticks only when I shift to the right. I have to manually pull it back to the center. Aside from conducting a full disassembly as you have shown, what do you think might be the cause and what do you think I can do to remedy the issue? You're awesome! My touch doesn't and around the knob feel sticky from some kind of juice. Do you think I need to remove the whole controller to fix the touch pad?

Yes you need to remove the controller to be able to repair it !
