That's a lot better than my id.3 tour 5. Highest I've seen is 60 Kw on ionity. Seems you have to plug in at around 10% to see anything near 100 Kw but plugging in at 30% I see 60 Kw max, not good. Maybe with future updates they might change the charging curve but on 2.3 it's shit. My old BMW i3 94 Ah would charge at 50 Kw all the way to around 85% but it had to be around 21 Deg C. It had an amazing battery, nearly 5 years old and still showed 28 Ah capacity the same as when I got it at 9 months and 9,500 Kms, had 143,000 when I traded it. Truly amazing battery life.

3:05 That graph unfortunately doesn't start at 0 for ix50 so it's hard to compare. I understand, that you didn't start charging session at 0, but it would be better, if you assumed similar charging speed below that point (or you can go with more sophisticated asumption and extrapolate lower voltage below that point)

Will you do a quick charge screen comparison video between ix 40 and 50 teslabjörn style? 😁 I still lack desired raw data, e.g. 50 kWh were charged in 17 min and so on.

No, iX40 charged slower than iX3. I deleted the files already.

@@BatteryLife There still are no complete charging sessions on yt that I know of! 🤷 You drove both expensive cars and recorded data, I am a bit surprised there is no heightened appreciation for this aspect and would like to see a more professional approach going forward. Cindy video was great & fun, but the non-race of ID3, Kona and Y seemed to have little purpose in the end...? 🤔

Hello. Do you draw the charge graph with values in 1 minute intervals from the video? May you add a charge graph in Ampere, i.e. the gross values from Ionity? Does the iX show the received net energy? [ English speakers: How would you write this comment 'correctly'? ] Hallo. Wird die Ladekurve anhand von 1-min-Intervallen des Videos aufgetragen? Ist es möglich die Ladekurve zusätzlich in Ampere auszugeben, zumindest die Ionity Bruttowerte? Zeigt der iX die geladene Energiemenge an?

Hi Chris, when you plan a long route using the bmw map does the ix plan the route using the charging network like the tesla? Does the car automatically pre condition the battery on route to the charger. Can you tell the bmw map to prefer certain charging networks?

Die Vergleichskurve der Reichweite, die man in gegebener Zeit laden kann ist super interessant. Allerdings dürfte sich ein Fehler eingeschlichen haben,weil bereits in Minute 0 der iX einiges an Reichweite geladen hätte, was nicht stimmen kann, weil ja alle am Nullpunkt links unten starten müssten,
