This is awesome. I just installed a similar wireless Carplay radio, followed these directions, and just adjusted the dimensions to match my screen. These cheap radios are getting to be so good. This one only cost me $150 and it has more features than my Pioneer.

I can disconnect the USB drive once it has been updated correctly, right? Or should I always leave it connected?

When I followed your instructions I got the successful update but when I rebooted the system my startup screen was black

EVO models (linux system) not in ready yet, for now, we just only NBT and CIC models, if you need EVO models, please order the android screen （android OS )

It is not like a video it is a picture sequence I guess, I have the OEM ///M “animation” in a file but I haven’t use it yet so I’m not sure if it useful in this unit (Linux)
