You make it look easy, but was it? I really want to do these upgrades to my M2C but not sure I trust my own capability! I know if I go to BMW to do the install it will be expensive.

It is easy as long as you go slow and don’t start pulling things. Everything should pop and you shouldn’t snap any clips.

Thank you for this video! I picked up a used M2C recently and it came with the gloss black interior trims. Any advice/tips on changing those out for the carbon ones?

There is a couple way you can go about it. You can go to BMW and have them pull the part numbers and order it. (About $900usd not including this kit) or look at the after market. The link below is a German company that has a lot of the trim pieces. And they should ship internationally. faserschmiede.de/kategorie/bmw/page/2/

As far as for install a trim tool, some patience and a little bit of persuasion should pull most of them up since they are held in by clips.

Reason you replace it is because 99% of the time it will crack or get damaged when removing it. That’s a big reason why the kit comes with one.

It really isn’t to bad of an install. Just protect the trims and take your time!
