No no no,its nowhere near 250hp ,as soon as you mentioned hilltop I put my head in my hands. Get the owner to take it accross to bhp uk who have done extensive work on this motorcycle ecu and they will give you the real results.

I have to say I am going to go along with what the owner says about the bikes, the 1300 and the 1000xr. He seems to know a thing or two about this stuff, but I may be easily influenced! Thanks for the input I will pass it on to him ref BHP UK.

@@gsd32i I’ve been to Jersey many times and realise that the roads, speed restrictions aside, could never let ANY powerful bike have its ‘head’. It must be soooo frustrating. There again it’s a lovely place.

What was done to the engine, cams?, I had a done H2SXSE and it was faster then this so I understand the rush of it all, enjoy.......

To be honest I didn’t ask too many questions , just rode it . Suffice to say they took the engine out to do work on it , they didn’t replace the pistons , that I do know . 👍

Thanks for this new great test... This machine is unique but I find its use limited. Our 1250 GS are certainly less fast but so much more versatile. Take care of yourself ! A loyal fan from Lille (France). Thanks google translator 😄

I own the 2024 M1000XR along with a 2020 R1250GSA. Watched a lot of videos on both. Love them both. IMO They are two different genres of motorcycles. I don't understand why people compare the two. I guess it's because there both BMW's

wow, both, envious. if I had both then my license would be gone very quickly!😂 Only compared both as they were modified specifically to do our hill climb events. Yup agree totally different Machines. I followed the cuban rider who had a standard XR and he whipped lots of sports bikes on track...so goodness knows how you M would do on a track in the hands of a good rider. May be you could lend me yours? 😂 Ride safe.
