BMW M140i 2019 OPF/PPF (secret???? exhaust mode)

My 2019 BMW M140i ZF8 OPF/PPF model secret??? exhaust mode.
I don't know, it's just a BUG, but the sound after the combination very similar than the non OPF/PPF model. (It's working from ECO PRO hold the DSC button)

It doesn't matter, if you press Eco pro, before you press DSC Off. By the way you don't have to press the button DSC Off 3 seconds. If you press the button one time - doesn't matter in which mode - to go to traction mode, it's absolutely the Same exhaust burple.

Definitely works on my 140. Only until up to full temp but still a nice thing to know about!

Exhaust goes back to sounding similar to sport plus once its at full temp. However after driving in eco pro for a bit the pops come back on mine so maybe that is enough to allow it to cool during driving even

On my 340i OPF it works in every Mode with DSC Off. But only till the temperature gets too high.

xennor15 same on my 340i OPF. Traction mode gets some pops and bangs but not always. Also no farts on upshifts :(( Can’t wait the new Akrapovic exhaust to come out for this particular new OPF model. I have big hopes.

I had the same issue, BMW re-flashed the car and now it pops all the time.

The OPF is hardware on the car , thats mean you can push as many buttons you want the real exhaust aint gonna change. Maybe there is a bug in the active sound that’s maybe possible. Otherwise verry nice car i love the m140i good lucks with it

In BMW's models with at least .20i 20d have an exhaust with valves which open in Sport Mode and are closed in Comfort and Eco.

No. The pops are from the exhaust. I have asd deactivated and it works.

@@gudelauneeehi mate what is asd? I have a 2019 one and I want it to pop in sport with traction on lol, full dsc off in uk weather is too dangerous

@@afegasdf76y123eit doesn’t matter which mode your in just push the traction control button once which puts it in to dynamic traction mode and your exhaust will start to burble so your dsc is not all the way off I have the same 2019 model and it works
