no so short anymore (e90 3 series size) but its ok, weight increased alot its over 1700kg now. but from what i heard bmw managed to make it fun

It's not that short, you want a short wheelbase on the same engine get a Z4.

I think there is no RWD version. It's just coded to send 100% of the power to the rear wheels.

Got mine Dec 31st. I'm a big fan. The 6 is silky smooth. I had a tuned Gilf R before. It was quicker than this but the power curve was nowhere as linear. Gotta find a fault... The seats are not as bolstered as I'd like. In the US we don't get the better seats. Plus it's not straight ahead. Basically it's probably or two degrees painting laterally. I think it's a safety thing. Oh!!!! I know. I dislike that the exhaust flap on the right is closed. In my mind it's unbalanced. OCD behavior on my part. The car is amazing. You guys are gonna love it.

@@JobAntonis I know what you mean. I’ve ordered mine mid last year just to be sure, it‘s ready in this summer. So I waited nearly a year and it was hard :D but now I know every single video of the car😂 I hope it won’t feel too long for you!

Great car but I miss the old BMW screen interior. I know the new curved is more adjusted to the modern standards but the old integrated layout looked so much better in my opinion :/

RWD variant of all M-lite cars also not availablle in the UK, which has become a second-tier market for BMW today. Also I suspect fewer enthusiasts relative to sales, compared to other countries, so no purist RWD variants are sold there. This is also why BMW does not sell the M3 or M4 "pure" versions there, which means no 3- or 4-series M car is available with a manual transmision at all. I guess they should be grateful for the M2 manual, but I doubt there will be many sales of that one.

This Portimao blue color is amazing. It has 2 tones: it changes to dark blue during cloudy days and at night and to light blue under the sun 😻

for me the best sports car, it combines comfort with sportnes and it is a car you can easily daily drive, better than the supra and the z4 with the same engine but awd so its faster and cheaper

It looks and works way better in person. Seen IDrive 7 and 8 side by side and 8 is definitely better. You got to see it in person, it’s actually really nice.

The M2 G87 I test drove had it too. For F series cars there was an anti wheel hop kit which you could mount on the diff. Probably will be offered for G series cars too in the future. Also there is a good chance you will not experience this with winter tires, as they‘re softer.

I am planning to save up money and sell my stock 2016 Genesis Coupe 3.8 so I can get a 2020-2021 M240i. My goal is 700whp as a daily someday. I also know the best spoiler wing for the F22/2 series cars. I don't like the way the new G42 M240i looks.

After watching videos of the AWD and RWD is seems pretty clear the AWD is better handling and takes off quicker. I’m sure RWD more fun but I’d like the control of AWD better for this powerful engine/drivetrain. AWD also cost more and weighs more too.

This thing has so much power, definitely would recommend X drive. I have the 230i and the power is perfect for only being RWD. Not getting xdrive with the b58 doesn’t let the car exploit the cars full potential. I can see why BMW first released xdrive b58 and RWD b48. The RWD m240i is a burnout machine however it does look like you have to intentionally break loose, it is a predictable break away.
