E46 probably my favorite too but I just never liked the sound of it. Always sounded tinny to me. Idk. I wish the new f80 had a shorter nose length. It seems so long and that's probably why it's so tail happy. If the M2 had the same rear end look and tail lights as the M3 has OMGAHHH I would be In love wit that thing. The rear lights and look to it looks ugly to me. Obviously I'm pretty picky...lol But e30 is just a straight up legend and e36 is a classic m car forsher.

E30 - Started it all - Legend E36 - The best handling / US version got the weak motor (Still Pissed) E46 - Great engine / Best looking (I'm bias) E92 - Best Engine / Large and heavy F80 - Best Interior / Otherwise nothing special M Cars are suppose to have a special engine. BMW now re-purposes a regular engine with a more aggressive tune and puts an M badge on the back. This includes the mighty 1M as the poster child. They have lost their way and have watered down the M badge with way too many models lately. Just my $.02

The only M cars with a regular engine with an agressive tune up are the 1M and the M235i every other M car has a modified version 'S' engine. I will agree they are slowly losing their way but I only say this because I'm a bigger fan of naturally aspirated than I am of forced induction, and still I can't complain because f10 and f80/82 have beast motors.

It's all personal opinion really. I have 2011 E92 it my personal fav, went and bought one. Almost anyone I run into with pre E90 models drool, and friends that went with newer all regret getting rid of their's. That should cover the opinions. I don't daily it, but a few times a week and it's a smile always all I can say.

Love my E46 M3. Cant think of any car that I would swap it for for the same money. Perfect engine. Perfect handling. Great power. Squats down the faster you go. Sounds great. Great boot for golf clubs. Comfortable seats. 0-60 in under 5 secs. Nice to drive slow and fast. Drove the F80 and while I liked it it did seem a bit too like a computer game, and it sounds shit! Would love a spin in an E92 M3 though with that DCT gearbox....yum yum

Nach M3 E30, M3 E36 und M5 E34 gibt es keine M legende mehr für mich, bin ein grosser BMW Fan, Ich hatte 93er 3.0 l M3 E36, 94er 3.0 l M3 E36, 98er 3.2 l M3 E36 und 01er 3.2 l M3 E46, ich vergesse denn 3.0 l M3 E36 nicht mehr, vor 2 Wochen bin ich eine 3.0 l M3 E36 Besichtigen gegangen als ich Türe auf machte und die Sitze sah hatte ich trennen im Augen und war plötzlich so nervös, als erste habe ich die Sitze angefasst der M3 E36 Geruch war noch da. Die neuere M3 haben vielleicht mehr Leistung aber M3 E36 hat die schönste Linie mit schönsten Sitze Scheinwerfer und Heckleuchten. BMW E30, E31, E34, E36, E38, E39, E46 kenne ich aber was BMW danach produziert hat kenne ich nicht und will es auch nicht kennen, die Scheinwerfer und Heckleuchten ab 2000 sind katastrophal welcher Designer hat die Hässlichen Scheinwerfer und Heckleuchten gezeichnet? Vielleicht einer der BMW hasste?? Wenn ich die Lichter von Audi sehe bin ich neidisch, warum hat das BMW nicht geschafft? Für mich ist BMW Legende bis Jahr 2000 danach ist vorbei keiner BMW ab Jahrgang 2000 wird mir im Gedanken bleiben und werden nicht in die Legende gehen. Bin jetzt wieder auf der Suche nach M3 E36 oder M5 E34 aber leider schwierig was gut erhaltenes zu finden bis € 25000.- es gibt einige die gut erhalten sind mit wenig km aber Preise sind über € 40000.- und die Preise werden weiter steigen weil sie M Legende sind. WAS RUND IST IST KEINE M LEGENDE.

What an amazing video, my dream car collection!! Was the E46 M3 in this video a CSL ? Wasn't quite sure. I've driven the F80 quite a few times and is absolutely demonic to drive, even in a straight line!
