Did you have to remove the protecting oem stuff off the two sides? I see your pipes in the front when you show under the car so I’m assuming you did before this video.
@BAYAREAMX4 жыл бұрын
Looks ok but a splitter is supposed to redirect air to the sides of the car, not have a slot for the air to go underneath.

Are the skirt made of real carbon fiber? They are too soft

How long is the side skirt?

Looking good sir! Can’t get myself to get a lip. Scraping my front bumper as it is lol.

Dude that splitter is sexy as hell!!!
@M_is_for_Monty4 жыл бұрын
I’m pretty sure the short part you are not sure where it goes, and you said goes inside the center of the bumper, goes between the front lip and the center of the bumper to delete part of the space that’s there.
@BlakesGarage4 жыл бұрын
It's a support piece that slips inside but it doesn't work with my skid plate. Skid plate is much stronger anyways.
@M_is_for_Monty4 жыл бұрын
Blake's Garage Can you try to install it between the bumper and front lip?? See who it looks!!
@brianadams20773 жыл бұрын
@@M_is_for_Monty Blake is right, if you take off the protected undercover in the center (Blake has replace his with a plate) you can then reach inside the vinyl front painted body work and the center support slides out. You have to trim the carbon to slide on the clips for the screws but it goes back inside the vinyl bodywork. It’s silly really, it’s not visible except for the two edges where they bolt into the frame (Blake showed these bolts when knocking on his badass plate, smart!).

you didnt use any any double sided tape or the glue from bmw on the side skirts. did you find that it held on good just using screws? ? also, when drilling the holes for the side skirts, how far did you drill, do i have to worry about drilling into anything there behind the rocker panels?

Screws worked cool eventually it exploded on track this front lip couldn’t handle 140mph plus

Hello Blake i recommend for you to buy "SLIPLO" Universal Bumper Skid Plate & Scrape Guard for protect.
