The downpipe right behind the turbo is the biggest restrictor in the exhaust for turbo powered cars. As far as you can tell there is no downpipe included in the Akra evo exhaust system. Probably because of emission regulations.

Great noise, the pipes are made of either carbon fibre or titanium but what is the rest of the system made of? Is it titanium also?

You hear the stereo channeled sound only on the inside, the outside sound never was artificial in the first place. You're mistaking it with audi's sound actuating system. This gives the artificial sound on the outside. Ricer style.

alot of people complain about the sound of the f10 m5, but it seems alot of the owners say they love the sound, and everyone raves about the sound of the amg's . i bought the new cls63 and find the sound quite "underwhelming" nothing really impressed me about it. way too quiet. especially under idle.
