How’s this for an all-German showdown... Audi RS6 v BMW M5 Competition v Mercedes-AMG E63 S!
All three of these contenders can produce a serious amount of power. First up we’ve got Mat in his RS6, which is powered by a 4-litre twin-turbo V8 and can put down 600hp & 800Nm of torque. Alongside him we have the new BMW M5 Competition, with a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 delivering 625hp and 750Nm.
And then finally we have the AMG E63 S, which is housing a 4-litre twin-turbo V8 which produces 612hp and 850Nm.

It's not the drivers fault, the car is responsible for the lag. When I drove an S63 Coupe, the same thing happened. It just needs an extra bit to take off

@@LMO169 then he should calculate for that. Also you can see he is at fault, as the brakes turn off 0.3-0.5s later than the other cars, and no matter the cars delay the break lights turn off the moment you release it. Also he was bad in general, even messed up the shifts in the rolling races.

The fact is the weather won’t always be dry and sunny and it just goes to show how superior the Real Quattro system is over 4matic and Xdrive and i think everyone can respect that. In dry conditions the Audi might lose but having an amazing awd system in countries like the U.K and Canada makes up for it

The problem is not that xDrive and 4matic is bad in the wet. The problem is that they both require you to turn of traction control when launching whereas the Audi requires that you have it on. In normal driving or off-roading with traction control on you won’t notice any difference between Quattro, xDrive and 4matic

Actually I can tell you when it matters. Maybe this is what you meant. Although wet launches are great in the audi, you won't be doing a lot of those. But when you have roads that are not straight and it will rain, maybe with some mud or debris on them, Quattro and audi will make you feel safe. I have an E53 amg stage 1 and I drive like a grandma when it's wet. Great handling when dry, but...

Very nice lineup, but with these 3 cars being so close performance-wise, PLEASE make the test more equal. 3 sets of new same tires on each and then try and change "lanes" on the runway so you ensure grip level is the same. Cheers

They pretty much did already. Pre facelift M5 vs. pre facelift e63 vs. new rs6. Look it up. Wet conditions are much more interesting than basically doing the same race again.

The amazing thing about these cars and their 'rivalry' is that at the end of the day all 3 are great, fast cars with amazing performance and obviously, the consumers/buyers are the ones that benefit from them.
