M57 is a beast of an engines. Already had 3 of them in E46, E90 and E61 chasis. All of them were amazing. Here in European market they are very popular. This little beast is just stunning. Would love to try and drive it in the autobahn

HOLY SHIT YOU WENT ALL OUT! Man, if you ever decide to tackle more projects might I suggest an SMG to 6 speed s85 v10 conversion. Manual m6’s are going for 30-40,000$ more than the smg equivalent😭 I KNOW the parts (if source-able) are massively less expensive. Maybe 8k all together with some custom cnc parts. Biggest issue is getting the ecu to work with the manual trans. Also just any s85 v10 swaps in general. Though the m57 is WAYYY more reliable😭🤦🏽‍♂️ I digress… bravo to you man that car is insane and I hope you made every penny back and then some!👍

Thank you, yes the Idrive is fully intergraded, it uses a canbus emulator for it. I bought all the parts from www.bavlogic.com/

Hello Brad, Awesome build. What is the best way to contact you, see if I could commission you to build a conversion similar to your car shown here. What I have in mind is using a clean 2011 335d donor car, mostly the M57 engine and related diesel components, into a 2009-2013 3 Series 335i xDrive Coupe AWD. Tune the M57 to 600-700 AWHP. Make it look like a M3 as much as possible, upgrade the brakes and suspension. Look forward to discussing this project with you.

@Brad Tourt I wasn't mean it by u individually. Was meaning as a whole. Like what would someone do for emissions since it's technically a gas branded vehicle. Like here in IL depending where you are emissions testing is a big deal. Basic cash grab for the city. But here (Chicago) you would either have to rock dealer plates. Reg somewhere they don't test or keep re-register it every time it's due

Would you be interested in doing a paid swap? Id love a 135i with a m57 in it. These motors are getting insane numbers just completely obliterating everybody on the road with just a downpipe and a tune. I could get you the 135i and a donor 335d/535d. Would be interested in the labor all for personal vehicle not resale. I am really interested in making a track car not a street car, no need for accoutrements.
