I was going around 60kph in 5th gear and why wheels completely lost traction! I almost slipped into ongoing traffic and only just saved myself from a crash into the siderails! Scariest moment of my life!

Love the explanations of the structural differences at 7:36 (other than the obvious power difference) between the M8 and the 850i. For me this was enough to make my decision (was doubting between getting the regular 850i + an AC Schnitzer upgrade or the M8). Kudos for going a bit further than most other m8 reviews. 👍 Summary: - stiffer springs - high performance dampers, car sits lower to the ground - stiffer anti-roll bars - extended bracing - metal oil pan versus plastic one in m850i - more chassis bracing in rear - aluminium M-differential vs regular steel diff - improved brakes, carbon ceramic option only on M8 - rear track is wider

Around a track at a Grand prix here in canada, I saw the m8 destroy huracans, gt3 rs's, gt2 rs's, amg gt r's, some Mclarens (couldn't tell which ones), r8 v10+'s, couple of different Ferrari's etc. After that, I was kind of mind blown and can't believe how bad it gapped those other cars. Only cars that it couldn't beat were the prototypes, but those things lapped everyone like ten times. But the m8 was the fastest for the normal super/hypercars. I am now a fan of this car, this is the only bmw that ever entrigued me this much. It also had a massssive wing, but so did every car there. It was a two hour race by the way. Got the lead like 20 minutes in and kept it the whole time.
