Wow, it sucks I don't have space for a spare oven. So now I need to find a shop that will powder coat my valve covers with sufficient bakeout steps. Great video as always! 🫡

Thanks for the comment. If you call around ask about BMW magnesium covers specifically. Some shops won’t touch them.

I have seen people wrap parts in plastic to prevent the paintstripper from drying and leaving it overnight. Maybe overkill but it seems paintstripper works slowly

Through some trial and error I found this as well. I will have to do this on another set of covers.

That's a loaded question. In short yes. The toughest tool to make work is the oven, but I picked that up for $100 and already had the outlet for my welder. I've already powder-coated a set of brakes and will coat the old Valve covers from my car as well. I think the investment will pay off pretty quick.
