BMW N46 Replace Vacuum Pump Seals

In this video, we are replacing the seals of the vacuum pump of an E90 320i N46 engine. It's the same way for an N42 engine.
A common symptom for a faulty vacuum pump is the smell of burned oil in the cabin after braking. The vacuum within the pump is "consumed" while braking, oil leaks out of the pump, dripping on the hot manifold and evaporating there.
Preparatory Work:

Required tools:
➥ SW-10 socket wrench
➥ Torx 25
Tightening Torques:
➥ Vacuum Pump Screws 1st Pass: 5 Nm
➥ Vacuum Pump Screws 2nd Pass: 8 Nm
Repair costs: ~12 EUR
