BMW N54 Oil Leaks

Awesome show !! Just got my wife's 535i out of the shop. Had the oil filter housing gasket and oil cooler gasket done. New belt tensioner and serpentine belt. I already put new camshaft sensors and vanos solenoids with new orings for preventative maintenance. Runs so much smoother after this was done. My wife loves this car. But it will dig in your pocket deep !! Valve cover gasket Injectors Oil pan resealed New motor mounts Lower control arms Rear diff seals Transmission pan replaced 121,900 miles. Its running like a champion but it cost to get it there. I have a 2008 F150. 256,000 miles . No leaks, no problems.

Thanks! As a fresh owner of n54, you probably saved my engine 😅 Car loses allmost all of the oil in about one night.

Oil leaks are the most annoying things about all BMWs. Especially, the valve cover. The gasket is too narrow. I've had the seal replaced at the shop and it still leaked. They had to do it again.....

Yeah I probably would have annihilated my crankshaft seal so I'll just leave it parked. This will be my second time replacing the oil filter housing seal.
