BMW No Ignition , No Start , RED Steering Lock Sign

Short video on how to UNLOCK the ESL (Electronic Steering Lock) on BMW Cars when you have no ignition with the key , the car won't start and you will have a RED Steering wheel on the display with a lock on it.
You would need some basic BMW tools like EDIABAS and Ediabas Toolset32 + a cheap INPA cable.
Procedure would take 2 minutes if you have the tools.
With Ediabas ToolSet32 you will need to load "CAS.PRG" and execute two procedures :
steuern_elvcounter_cas_loeschen - ELV Counter clear in CAS
steuern_elvcounter_elv_loeschen - ELV Counter clear in ELV
After that , turn ignition off , then on and start the car.

The red steering lock sign showed to me last night and i couldnt start the car after few minutes of trying to start the car it disappeared but it showed asists failure and i still could start the car (I was 300km far from home to watch drift race and asked for help few mechanics there and they told me what could be broken and that i should get it to service and i felt helpless, also no one had diagnostic there and i thought the battery was OK) steering wheel unlocked but there was asists failure and we tried to start the car by pushing it which didnt work. Then we disconnected the battery for 5 minutes and it showed the steering wheel lock again. The SOLUTION WAS START THE CAR WITH CABELS ( it was just low battery bcs i left charger in cigarette lighter i guess). I tried to start the car this mornig after 4 hour drive home last night and everything seems fine.

Salam Vérifie les fusibles Le problème est entre module Cas et Elv. Il faut effacer les défauts module cas et synchroniser cas elv avec inpa ou ista d.. Sinon il existe un émulateur elv

Verifie tension batterie car si elle est faible tu ne pourras pas faire la synchronisation cas elv

Thanks wail, i checked the fuzes and the battery voltage all seemed fine, however i disconnected the battery for a full day then i started the car it started then i earased all elf and cas codes by special functions on autotel scanner. It worked and all good now. Thanks 😊

steering wheel is locked after trying this.. any ideas?
