Very useful video - thank you. One question: I have an Abba Superbike stand but there's no fitting kit for the R Nine T so which adapters are you using?
@arugolaworkshop3 жыл бұрын
Hi Michael. Abba does makes a fitting kit for the R Nine T but it's not advertised. And it does not show up in their drop down menu. The thing is, they have had complaints in regards to the stand being too difficult to use for some people because it requires more leverage to get the Nine T up on the stand. You'll have to email them directly to get a Nine T fitting kit. That's what I had to do. Thanks for watching and happy wrenching.

Im looking on the Abba website and they dont list the rnineT as option for fitment with their stands. I see you have some sort of modification at the attachment point....

@olivedjazzer Someone else commented that they want to see a video of how I have my Abba bike stand set up. So I'll make that video in the next few days that explains it. Thank you.

@@arugolaworkshop thanks so much. I ended up getting a pit bull and using a jack with some blocking for the oil pan. I'm much rather have a center mount option

The pinch bolts on my 2017 r nine t are need about a T35 socket. I can't find one, are they available?
@arugolaworkshop3 жыл бұрын
Hi William, I don't recall ever having to use a T35 on my 9T. And it is odd that most Torx sets seem to go from T30 to T40, skipping over a T35. Perhaps it's a T40 that happens to be a tight fit? Not all Torx bits are the same. Some are cut a little differently and can seem to cause mating issues. Sorry I can't be of more help, but thanks for checking out the video.
