I had two flights on Aeroflot back when it still belonged to the Soviet Union. Round trip Moscow to an airport in Soviet Georgia. It felt like the pilot was actively at the controls during both flights. No autopilot? Quite an experience.

Yes. Landing in Moscow seeing cannibalized aircraft next to the active runway was weird. We visited prisons and did ministry - worse than I ever imagined. Hard core Midnight Express stuff.

@@JdilpkleRS I was stunned by my visit and it gave me a great appreciation of my country. More people should visit a place like that. When leaving Moscow on my Lufthansa flight out, the passengers broke into applause as the plane left the ground.

Hello Joe, I thought it might’ve been a turn signal for Mr Munch at first? Seems like an afterthought to be hinged but it works, those crafty Germans. I had no idea you were sending us nice weather. I was in a hot sunny 🌞 garage yesterday working on the KLR which has no engineering what so ever, but manages to consistently be horrible at everything. Maybe name it the Democratic Dog. Take care Joe.

I’ll try to get the heat turned down a bit for you. Democratic Dog. Slam on the dog. Who needs names anyway. Bad is bad, name or no name. Hopefully the weather lets up a bit here.
