Part 1&2 are the first videos of yours I've seen due to a crank no start issue with my son's car. I have been trying to track down the issue since Christmas, so far to no avail. I don't know much about cars but anytime there's a breakdown I do a ton of research and have been able to fix the issue myself. Which for females is not too common. What I came to say is that I really enjoyed how you acknowledged and verified the complaint, then showed us the proper steps to diagnose the vehicle. The information I learned watching your videos leads me on a different path from what I've been doing. But it seems like the common sense path to begin at. I'm gonna order those tools you had and give it another go. Your explanation, pace, and video work was on point. Thanks for helping us diy'ers.

Now that it's timed right it won't even start. I'm going to follow these steps. This is the most helpful video yet!

I have a 2008 750 Li BMW no crank, no start. I got Gas coming out the injectors rail, strong compression when cranking, have not check SPARK and Fire yet. What too do.

Most likely, prior owner hit something and the prior owner or 3rd rate mechanic just ripped it out. It could be the current owner hit something and just thought I don't need this part. Shadetree type stuff. Owner kept changing story, sounds shady too. Running a fuel injected car low on fuel all the time isn't good for the fuel pump. The fuel in the tank helps keeping the pump cool.
