Good review especially on the autobahn. Very strange to me though that you dont like to M logo on the console. The same way, there is an AMG badge or S badge on Mercs and Audis, and it doesn't hurt !! The model needs some visible differentiation with the other X3...

I think it’s bit overdone with all the badges, especially when you consider this is an M performance model rather than a full X3 M. I love this car and the badges aren’t a deal breaker, but I do agree with him that BMW could have been a little more subtle with the badging.

I have X3 30i (B48) but B58 is still better then it Such a nice throttle response. I wish Australia too has autobahn. So much fun to drive the car at 260kmph

Had the pleasure of driving both. BMW does a real good job at dynamics regarding their SUVs in my opinion. however, its an SUV... The 340 has my personal preference in terms of dynamics and corners. Highway, x3 all day. :D

Regrading the heavy steering feel - try to grip the steering like a man and not as if you have just applied nail polish. Plus start going to gym as someone else also suggested.

gesture control is rubbish... if you put your hand infront of the middle console you can easily reach the missing 5-10 cm to the freakin knob and turn up and down or just use the steeringwheel buttons...
