1. All X5's for BMW are made in Spartanburg, SC - not Mexico. 2. All of them are made of the same material - there are interior differences for other countries and for most outside of the US they include rear fog lights which the US version does not have. 3. Reliable like a Toyota? Trust me, I'm on my 3rd X5 and have never had an issue with any of them other than regular maintenance. It's a fantastic car.

@@frozen_tortus yes, they are all made in the United States. However, they are overpriced JUNK with a HORRIBLE warranty. There is no reason on (or off of) earth why these pieces of crap should start at over $40,000 and go well over $100,000. They're plastic, disposable trash. Wanna save the environment? Don't buy shit like this.

Try putting 200k miles or more on one and come back and honestly say that. Of course you won't have problems when you fleece one for 3 to 5 years and only put 20k to 60k miles on them.

Wow... just found this video! I work here, and its simply an amazing process to behold, and to be apart of. We DO build the "Ultimate Driving Machine(s)"... Just for reference, Spartanburg, SC Plant produces the X3, X4, X5, X6, and the New X7's... As far as Quality is concerned. It is German Engineering, and Manufacturing processes. So the rumors of crap parts and crappy workmanship, is completely nonsense. Trust me.

White Mail Privilege It’s the people it’s the freaking people Americans don’t like BMWs... they hate them and think they are unreliable means barely any care they are showing off in the camera no cameras then they actually beat the shit out of the BMWs being made that’s why quality of the interiors on some BMWs suffer but BMWs built in the real German factories are prestige look and compare a 7 series to what the X7 will be. 7 series will feel and looks cleaner.

III BMW III interior part is true. I got my brand new X3 with a center console full of scratches. But in terms of general quality, it’s been a perfect car for almost 6 years without the slightest trouble.

clearly this process doesnt work very well..... my brand new 2019 BMW X5.... which was meant to be delivered to be 2 weeks ago.. has a major fault and requires new parts to be shipped in from Germany and replaced ... HOW that fault made it past the factory is beyond me. not impressed
