BMW X5 4.8i Transmission Malfunction: When passed in Drive Fixing Shifter Issue Without a Computer!

I have a similar issue but with a 2004 X5 3.0. Will not go out of park unless I manually force it and then once in Neutral and I start the car the shifter doesn't move. I als had the dreaded trans fail safe, Brake light and ABS as well as 4x4. The issues started after I removed the dash and replaced the AC blower motor. Any ideas?

Number one task when purchasing a used vehicle is to establish a baseline. Before anything else, change ALL the fluids. Front to back. Blinker fluid, front diff oil, Tcase oil, transmission oil, rear diff, engine oil, engine coolant, steering oil, brake fluid purge. Then lube the muffler bearings and go for a drive. Start rest of the fixits after that drive.

@@bmwminicooperdiy hi i tried with bmw 525i 2005 and the restart method isnt working and the error stays on?( ididnt turn the wheel etc just simple pushing down gas pedal)

@@bmwminicooperdiy what happen is it just skip the reverse and when i put it on it goes into netural, it does go to drive but currently not begin able to use reverse mode
