Hi thanks for your Video upload having watched my configuration is slightly different (E53) but same cable so can I ask where the power pickup is coming from I have connected in the Boot and at the Unit, but now power fuses are okay as far as I can see just wondered so I can trace back correctly Thanks

Awesome video! There are actually holes behind those squares in the top corners. You can simply put the factory screws back in, no tape necessary.

The head unit is made to have a ridge on the bottom that goes behind the dash and then the 2 screw holes on the top, if your aftermarket unit doesn't have that ridge then yes those screws won't do enough and some adhesive would be needed.

nice video! pls. i didnt know about i-line and k-line before i cut of all the cables from the old radio. put in an aftermarket. now i dont have turn signals showing on cluster and no info at the bottom of cluster. i find a cable from cluster to stereo i line.. how can i restore this now so the cluster blinks the turn signal. thanx

You don't have to do anything with them, like they shown, you just ignore them/tape them off. They will not be used.

I don't know if I understand correctly, but do you mean if you need to connect the black wire? If that's what you mean then my answer is YES, you need to connect the red and black wire.

How long does it take to load the operating system? You only showed a portion not the actual time? I heard some take up to 30 seconds

Where is the x3 e83 reverse switch cable, i done it on the bulb holder. Headunit is switching over. Also when I measure at camera I’m getting 3v

We just used a drill tool, I don't exactly know what model it is.. Try to avoid drilling if possible!

I have a BMW E53 like this. I've bought an Erisin ES3061B for it and it comes without canbus box because it´s integrated, but it have some wires to connect battery, steering wheel, etc. How I have to do to connect this cables? Where? Thank you so much.

If it comes without a Canbus box, I can't inform you how to connect them. This can be different for each radio, and we don't have experience with Erisin..

This is exactly what I have to do. But before I run the extension to the front I'm trying it out. The unit works but I cannot get sound. There is an amp plug. Does this need to be connected?

Hello KA, some of the original amplifiers of BMW are not supported by some after-market device. You need to make some adjustment to the wires. You need to find out the speaker wires, and this needs to be connected directly to the radio, without an amplifier in between. Because an amplifier does not turn on, you dont get sound. And some amplifiers can only turn on when there is an original bmw radio unit in the car. We are searching for an easier solution for amplier which dont turn on with after-market radio units. We have installed after-market units in many BMW cars, but it happend only one time that the amplifier would not turn on.

Currently we don't have experience with IBUS adapters... This car is equipped with DSP indeed.

I am just curious... how did you get the DSP amp and everything to work? My sound doesnt work with a simple plug and play like this one did?

Because as far as I can tell the vehicle in the video does not have DSP, I'm not aware of an vehicles with DSP without a Subwoofer in that rear compartment. If you have a head unit not designed to work with DSP I think you'll have to re wire your system directly to your speakers, and run a stand alone amp for your sub, OR you could get a head unit that is DSP compatible, Avin Avant 3 or the Dynavin N7 will work. Thats what I ended up doing. DO NOT get the reverse camera from avant, or any that says it fits in the license plate lamp, it will not fit in an e53 x5, maybe if you have an e39 or something else but not the x5.

thats dogy wiring conections. do it proply like bmw etc tech there techs to do it like the factory. less problems down the track. solder and splice and heat skrink
