Its from the front window. BMW will correct this at the dealer. It was wrong distance onnthe top by building.

That wind noise is on recall from BMW windshield rubber sealing i got mine fixed . Go do it ASAP

Got a costumer complaining from the same noise in a Mercedes A200 sedan, It was a loose rubber gasket in the sunroof.

These wind noises are because of weak glass glue, it needs to be glued. I had the same problem 😉

Hi, Have an X5 M50d 2019 exact same model Just Right Hand drive in SA. I am experiencing the same mysterious noise as in Your clip coming from the front windscreen somewhere from behind the review mirror, except that mine starts at around 110 to 140 km/h depending I assume from the wind direction. Do You know if it was rectified ? Otherwise an excellent vehicle.

ist dieses heftige pfeif Geräusch oberhalb von 220 Km/H Serie bei BMW oder kostet das extra wie so vieles bei den Deutschen Herstellern ? bei Audi fängt es wenigstens erst ab 280 an, aber dort kostet es glaub extra, mit dem Performance Paket.

Hahaha the new GLE has the same wind noise at 230+ km/h. Thought Benz were the only stupid ones, but bmw is not much better. Mind you, both cost over 70k at their starting price.

They are SUV s. Wind noise will be higher than in a 'normal' Sedan car.Probably there are issues like bmw's recall but even with latest tech,the frontal surface of these cars will always be more draggy.

Das ist echt seltsam. Wenn er Gas gibt kommt das Geräusch wieder so ab 225 kmh ungefähr. Ich glaube es liegt einfach daran, weil es ein BMW ist.... 😂

Noise comes from the side mirrors or the front (wiper blades etc.)... Nothing that can't be fixed though😁😁😁

Vladan Pesterac das Problem ist ein falsches Dichtungsgummi an der Frontscheibe. Betrifft nur die ersten Exemplare des X5, also bevor der Modellpflege.
