Had one of these about 10 years ago - one of the best cars I’ve ever owned. With dbilas cams, 200 cell cats, headers and equal length downpipes it sounded orgasmic.

I want to see him rag a 2.4 manual Stilo, it would be either a Schumacher or GT (if you can find one), would love to see what hey could actually do against the clock. Mine felt a hell of a lot faster than the 8.5 to 62mph suggested. Maybe they didn't test the manual, I don't know. Loved the sound though, n/a 5 pot loveliness

@@buchardo You are correct, if the owner imported it to Europe (because it was not sold there officially), replaced the red tail lights for the white and red ones and replaced the red Saturn badge below the middle brake light for the silver Opel logo.

I have a Z3 3.0 roadster and I agree, mostly between 15 and 15,5 in my case. Much faster than the 2.8. But driving 80 in 4 of 5th gear, just a small difference with the 2.8

@@Franc39A6DD I have two explanations: from factory the top speed is 231 km/h for z3 coupe 2.8 and 240 for a 328ci. The aërodynamics for a Z3 is not as good as for a e46 of a e39. And the diff is shorter by a Z3. So at top speed the RPM is too high for maximum power (193 ps by 5300rpm)

A lot of them have from factory. Maybe even all It's based on the e30 rear axle. I even believe some have a torsen style while others have a plate style.
