BMW Z4 Bluetooth Install

7 minute install, from the time I opened the car door to begin until I closed the door to walk back to the tool bench and put my tools away. A great deal of that time savings was down to your tip about a curved pick tool. I used my stainless steel dental picks and the vent came out in seconds. It was all plug and play, connection was easy, and whilst the sound is not the best, it gets the job done. Thank you.

I did this to my bmw z4 2004, 3 months ago. It’s really good. No need to change the stereo. Just buy a bluetooth kit and DIY

Hi Sam wiring is really easy and I have recently found out you can buy a kit that is full plug and play no splicing of wires just extend with an extra plug and play loom

@@alfjobharris3078 Appreciate your reply. I ordered it. I received it. Connected it. It asked for a pin. I found out it was a sticker behind drivers seat within the subwoofer. I connected it, but it doesn’t play my music. I talk to Siri and she replies through the car speaker but it won’t connect to play music. Any thoughts?

Hey man! I built in a similar module, but the bass seems to be so much less deep as compared to when I put in a CD. Only when I crank up the bass to + 6, I get fat bass. Seems almost like something is wrong, but I'm not sure what. Any clues?

Hi Dan my z4 doesn’t have the steering controls, I believe this wouldn’t interfere but I don’t think you would be able to change tracks as this is not possible even on the head unit with this device.
