Yeah I’ve heard is causes much more stress to the driveshaft and will wear u joints since the oem rubber guibo should really be there to absorb any vibration from the engine and trans and play before it reaches the driveshaft

E60 545 short shifter. you can however still use the Z3 shifter in E46..also, you can Match the ISN Codes and keep your EWS.

Glad you got that thing started and got your tune. Again B don't forget to get those 4-hole injectors. OEM ones are two hole and slanted not directed to the valves. Trust me you will notice a huge difference.

I felt like that once upon a time. But slowly over the years as I've learned because I refuse to pay anyone to do something I can do myself, I've slowly acquired a set of skills and tools that make it a lot more pleasant. Also after you build a car up from scratch and then get to enjoy it, it's a really awesome feeling of accomplishment, I crave that feeling. And knowing it's coming makes me enjoy the process waaay more. My 2c

Lifter tick removal. Rev engine and hold at 3000 rpm for a solid 3-4minutes and it clears up 99%

It’s an e36 thing, you can swap a z3 shifter into the e36 sedan/coupe so you’ll have a short throw. All you gotta do it bend the shifter alittle to fit

That Valeo clutch kit suck, we use them a lot in europe because they are cheap. Be soft, Brian, be soft with that unit! 😂😂 When they get hot they start to slip like hell!! All the best for you guys!! 😎

Just be careful of those revshift guibos. you need to have basically solid trans mounts and solid diff mounts to not completely annihilate them

prob put the stock one in wrong if you dont line it up right with the shaft ughh idk how to explain it the triangle part of the shaft thicker metal part has to go in the thicker rubber part of the guibo on stock so it dosent rip apart in a month I made that mistake before

Why don't you use the 328i throttle body and pedals ? It's drive by wire too, the cable is just there for backup. And what about the disa valve ? The tune delete it ?
