Does it look scary or anyone could learn these skills?

I think my biggest fear would be overshooting the corner and not braking in time

I love that BMW M4 GT3 wheel. I use it almost every day. Too bad it’s not in a real car but I’ll make do with sim racing.

With the lead follow sequence, did you really feel like you could push the car hard?
@JamesBachiciChannel3 ай бұрын
Most definitely - David is a pro driver and he didn’t hold back, so we had the opportunity to push hard and try to stay on his tail 👍

Hi, I record silly cat videos and make music. I'm a girl and I'm not too old. But even I realize it's harder than driving behind a slow moving stock BMW. Have you ever driven a proper racing go-kart? Start with this. Don't waste your money on something you don't understand. How do you get all the grip out of a slick if it's cold? Your brakes are cold, too. You're not a pilot, you're an amateur.

Karting is a great foundation to build upon, and myself along with quite a few of my colleagues have enjoyed it as a fun way to keep sharp while having fun. That "slow moving stock BMW" that was leading us is an M3, no further explanation is needed here - but note that I specifically called out we did warm up laps to get the car up to temp. Lastly, the driver of said M3 is a Nurburgring 24 hour race winner, so trying to keep up with him regardless of what you're driving will be a challenge. With all that said, the main point of the program (and one you seem to have missed) is that you attend to learn and to gain experience across multiple vehicle types in different situations. If karting is what gets you experience, then more power to you. Cheers!

There is a road pace car leading the group of GT4 cars. What the skill you got? Absolute senseless experience for even medium skill driver.

The point is to learn - to grow your skills, it’s not to beat anyone but yourself. Also remember that the lead car was an M3 being driven by a Nurburgring 24 race winner, not a babysitter. Cheers!

@@JamesBachiciChannel Great response. People do not have an appreciation for the skill to drive a factory built race car let alone drive it fast, especially on an unfamiliar track. I had a 991.2 GT2RS that I was (at least I thought I was) proficient at driving fast on track. I also have a 992 GT3 Cup car and when I first got it I had the terrible misconception that I could just jump in and drive it fast because I could drive the street car fast. It was a humbling experience driving a “real” race car compared to a street car. Everything is more visceral, immediate and happens so much faster, plus you can brake later and you are in a car that is way less forgiving to bad driving technique compared to a street car. Having someone to show you the line while you’re learning the car is incredibly helpful. Unless you actually experience it, you can’t get an appreciation for it. Thanks for sharing the experience. Based on your video, I’m thinking of signing up for the experience as well. Cheers!

@@lovinglife9711Perfectly put 👏 I’m glad the message is not lost and people that get it resonate with the core principles behind why you sign up for these types of courses in the first place - to improve one’s driving skills. I also though I was a good driver, but like you said, you see just how high the ceiling is and how much of the mountain is left to climb very quickly 😄 also, those are some pretty epic vehicles you’ve accumulated! Congrats! I still remember my very first stint in a 996 GT3 Cup car! Cheers, let me know if you sign up, I’m curious to hear your thoughts on the GT4 Experience 👍
