BMW X1 electric or X1 gasoline?

PHEV ..is King in ireland..charging infastructure is very poor especially Northern Ireland.Plug in Hybrid wins.

Plug hybrid or petrol only I hate diesel if not good quality diesel fuel ⛽ u can do easy high damage of engine cost alot money but with plug hybrid or petrol u can easy fix clean filter of fuels and injection and is again new.

Thanks for the video. It is very helpful and answer most of my questions. I am planning to buy this car and will have a test drive at the weekend. I am not sure if i go with this or an X3 (low milage one). Did you feel any problem with the steering wheel? I saw another video and the steering wheel was a bit waggly.

I mean, it's a FWD car, so it will feel different than an X3. But I think most customers won't care.

Ordered a 18i on June 8. Looking forward to its arrival perhaps late November, If I'm too lucky. Loved the interior when I saw it on a 2 Series Active Tourer and really liked the exterior design, far more modern and sharp than it's predecessor. No EV for me, sorry, Greece is way very under developed on EV charging stations, maybe my next car, who knows, but for the moment gasoline ftw. Gonna dive into your review this afternoon, thanks!

How is adaptive m suspension when compared to the standard suspension. Is adaptive m suspension comfortable?

Yes. Especially in comfort mode. Adaptive is usually the best choice.

These are M Sport Seats. Material is a combination of leather and fabric

Keep stabbing all of us North Americans about the iX1 not coming here. ;). As for the gas version, it kind of feels like it's going to be a better choice than the X3 now that the exterior and interior have been upgraded. This is a very sharp design.

Is it quieter than the older model? The 2022 X1 is nice to drive, but very noisy.

Honestly, I have not drive the older X1 in a while. Noise comes mostly from tires, but overall the cabin seems better isolated from the exterior

Hey! Im trying to decide between the new C Class vs the pre-LCI BMW 330i M Sport. Any thoughts on which should I go for? Personally I like the Benz for interiors but it drives like a truck. So boring and lethargic. The BMW is very rapid but has cheap, third class plastics all over. So confused. The new LCI will be launched next year in my country and will cost 10K USD more so I am not sure about it.

That brings you to the usual BMW vs. Mercedes comparison. If you want a more luxurious interior, probably Benz. If you want a fun driving experience, then M340i. It has always been like that

The choice is easy... The lovely iX1 (well kitted out with those lovely options)... but you will need another ICE vehicle for your longer trips.. So for many people 95% of their trips could be covered by the BMW iX1 and then a good ICE vehicle for longer business trips, the family holiday and having to tow (EV's are useless for towing and their limited range is even more reduced)... Why not just charge the EV every so often on a longer trip? Prices at public chargers are now very expensive, many public chargers are inoperative due to problems or charge card compatibilty, many times you have to wait as there are not enough (nor will there ever be enough) places... Finally on a trip from (eg) Berlin to Munich or Paris to Antibes, are you really wanting to make a long trip much longer by having 3 or perhaps even 4 stops on the outward and then the return trip?

I will be one of the first in my area in the US to receive the new X1 28i, my dealer which is a high volume dealership said my order is the first and only so far, my new baby is on the production line, she will be an X line in mineral white metallic with black perforated seats all shiny and sporty and agile and beautiful, it was kind of difficult to order just from a spec sheet, I actually tried to change something but she's already on the production line, but this little baby is being custom built for me, and will be just gorgeous and I am quite excited, estimated delivery continues to be pushed back but that's fine it will arrive likely January some time, so I am told, just kind of nervous about the iDrive 8 OS.

Y it has the latest interior design while the current X1 still uses the design language from 2014. Such a big jump and so unfair to the 2022 X5/X6 owners. Spend more money and get old interior.
